Can smart lighting be installed in an existing home?
Yes. In retrofits we prioritize solutions that avoid tearing out the whole installation: circuit-level control at the panel, keypads in existing back boxes, and compatible wireless devices where wiring falls short. The engineering is defined after reviewing the current panel and circuits.
What is the difference between a smart dimmer and an integrated lighting system?
A dimmer controls one light. An integrated system controls scenes: multiple circuits, light temperatures, and schedules coordinated from a keypad, a sensor, or the automation system. It also prevents mismatched dimmer and lamp types, the most common cause of flicker.
Can the color temperature of the light be adjusted?
Yes. We work with tunable white from warm to cool and one-touch scenes (movie, dinner, away), automated by schedule or occupancy. It requires compatible fixtures and drivers, defined during the engineering stage.
